The Seychelles Connection

Come swim in the warm water of Anse La Mouche

Thank you for visiting this page and for taking the time to read about the Seychelles Islands that are near and dear to my heart. As the newly appointed Seychelles Tourism Ambassador for the Colorado Area, this gives me great pleasure to introduce you to the Seychelles Islands. While the Seychelles Islands are some of the most beautiful Islands in the world, so few Americans have even heard of them and we would love to welcome you there too.

Close your eyes and relax... you can be transported to the tropics

The Seychelles Islands are located approximately 1,000 miles off the East Coast of Africa, in the middle of the Indian Ocean. These 115 beautiful  islands boast not only some of the worlds most beautiful beaches, but because of their location 4 degrees south of the Equator, the average temperature is approximately 84 degrees F/29 degrees C, which makes for perfect holiday destination.

Our breathtaking beaches will make you want to stay forever!

Unique in every way, there is nowhere else on earth where you can stumble upon the world’s smallest frogs, or the world’s largest land tortoises. The Seychelles Islands are home to many endemic plants and animals but perhaps the Coco de Mer  is arguably the Seychelles most potent icon and unquestionably, it’s best ambassador to the more amorous traveller. The Coco de Mer is found only in the Seychelles where it grows naturally on the Island of Praslin and Curieuse.

While the Seychelles Islands are a very popular vacation destination for European and African Tourists, we look forward to more of our American friends visiting our beautiful islands. So when you plan your next vacation, please consider the Seychelles. Perhaps combine it with a Safari in East or Southern Africa!

For relaxation and renewal for mind, body and soul… there is no other tropical destination as welcoming as the Seychelles Islands!
